Artist Research - JENNY HOLZER

So I definitely feel like I got an artist that I can totally relate to. I love quotes, and she is all about quotes, and showing the world what she has to say, literally!
My artist is JENNY HOLZER, she is an abstract artist who focuses on painting and printmaking. 
She uses many objects to display her art, some examples would be:

Jenny started off with her own phrases and words, but ever since 1993 she started to make other people's words into art. Jenny Holzer's art always gets a response, whethere good or bad from the people who view it, she talks about very bold situations or topics.

Jenny believes that many of the things she reads can be summarizes into one phrase, and this what her art was, which she called "TRUISMS".

To project her art, Jenny had to learn how to use LED machines, to reach out to a larger audience. She learned the technology of these types of machines, and displayed nice of her "TRUISMS" at Time Square.

Jenny's main idea was to make people realize whethere or not they realize what they are being fed by the media, and whethere they pay attantion to all the things they see, and how it affects them.

Holzer says she was inspired by "clean, simple variations"
